The making of an awesome character

I think the characters I appreciate the most are those of J.K. Rowling and the Harry Potter series.  I’ve only just recently read through the series, and I’m so glad I didn’t start them until they were all out. I read through them like my life depended on it.

i consider the third and fourth books the height of the series because I was so wrapped up in the characters. I was truly scared of Sirius Black, and I really cared about Remus Lupin. I was devastated by what happened in the graveyard and I was in shock when I went back to the school with Harry.  It was awesome.

I know that Rowling spent a lot of time developing the wizarding world in which this took place and also a detailed back story about each character, which I think it what makes them so easy to get into.  Good thing to think about as I write for NaNoWriMo

I think a character I would love to talk with is Luna Lovegood.  Like, nothing special, but walking around the city or something.
