(Caution: The following is a slightly hyperbolic announcement of Wee One’s genius. Only slightly.)
I just found something I thought was lost. I’m overjoyed. Television Without Pity is back up for reading.
(My four year old dictated this story to me, and I’m pretty excited about it. Enjoy. 🙂
Once upon a time,
We all wanted the same thing, and I was one of the first ones taken off the rack. A brand new scrunchy. Like the others, I was white decorated with a red emblem. I was edged with a fine, though lengthy, lace trim. A woman bought me and took me to her home. I was so excited to see the world.
I generally don’t like resolutions. But I do like their cousin, annual challenge! I’ve chosen several challenges to pursue over the past few years, and think its valuable to keep the trend going. I have updated my challenges from 2018, and am armed this New Year’s Day with a mimosa and a small bowl of Chex mix.
One day while E.C. was planning a small baby caper
She felt something odd in her diaper di diaper.
As part of my personal 2018 1/12 Challenge, I am aiming to read 24 books this year, which I know doesn’t sound like much, but its a lot compared to the 0 books I’ve been reading since I had Wee One. I’m doing the reading challenge on Goodreads (Are you, too? Check out my list and let me know what books are good!) and thank God they permit rereading books, because otherwise, I don’t know if I would have finished. The whole Harry Potter series has brought me a long way to my goal.
Just this weekend, there was another book I read, one I haven’t thought of in 25 years.
