NaBoPoMo Introduction

This year has been a barren blogging year.

I just haven’t had much to say. Nothing interesting, nothing amusing. Just stuff about Wee One, and that’s gets tiresome to people who don’t give a shit about that kind of thing. (Although how can you no?

So when Ra posted¬†about doing NaBoPoMo, I had completely forgotten about it. But I remember how fun it was. And it’s fun to blog. To write this shit out. When I do it again, I’m like, ‘I miss thisssss!!!’ So I’m here again, and glad to see you are too.

It’s been interesting to see what happened to the traffic on this blog when I stopped posting some much. It was a little disheartening, in a way: Nothing really changed. In 2018, I posted 39 times, and had 2,000 more views than 2017, when I posted 168 times. And in 2019, at the beginning of NaNo, I’ve only posted 15 times, and already have more views when 2017.

So why post, right?

But at the same time, people are coming to check stuff out, even when I’m not actively writing and that’s cool. But you know what people usually like? Doctor Who, my tongue, and when my grandma died.

I think that’s the sign of a well-rounded readership, and I’m glad you’re here.

Happy November!
