My weekly spark of inspiration! This week it comes in the form of a video of a ballet dancer performing to Hozier’s ‘Take Me To Church.’
I’m not a dancer by any stretch, (beyond what I do when no one is watching) but I am awestruck by the way the body communicates. I want to move in a way that communicates.
Also, the song on its own is super-powerful – the music, the emotion in Hozier’s voice, and one of the possible meanings behind it: referencing the reprehensible anti-homosexual crimes in Russia.
Watching it makes me want to find something I believe in and pour everything into it. What do you think of it?
