It’s a new year, and a new opportunity to share your world! To start us off for 2017, Cee asks us some getting to know you questions, and I would love to hear about you as well!
- Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?
I’m okay with them being open. I usually close them for the sake of space, though in Seattle, our master bathroom was also a walk-in closet, and I kept a light on in there, so the door open, too, for some light. We were bed-sharing with Wee One and I wanted to be able to see her in the rare case she wasn’t touching me. And not trip over shit on the floor. (That was really the big thing.)
- Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotel?
It depends. If I need it, I might. If it smells good or is a posh sort of brand, yes. But if I already have some and they’re not very good, I might not even use them.
- What is your usual bedtime?
Ugh. Too late.
- Do you like to use post-it notes?
Yes. I don’t use them very often, but when I have access to them, and space to post things, I post like its going out of style. That’s a head injury strategy.
- When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper?
As it happens, I drew Christmas cards and wrote a little bit in there.
- Any phobias?
What is the difference between a fear and a phobia? If there is one, then I don’t have a phobia. But I do have fears. Fears of the dark. And of dogs hovering in the dark that are going to bite my butt. Not my knees or ears, but my butt. If my butt is covered or there is light on it (so I can see the dogs coming), I’m not so afraid.
- How tall are you?
5,6, which doesn’t feel as tall as it once did.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
