After last year’s NaBloPoMO, I had so much fun hopping other blogs and talking to other writers that I set a goal for myself to do at least two more months of posting-a-day. I just did April and will do at least one more, so to help with this, I’m doing a round up of interesting blog prompts.
Like these 101 prompts from Molly Greene. For example, a “Best Of”post, or a round up, like this one! Looking over this page is how I got the idea to do this post, one I think will be helpful anyway!
The SITS Girls page. I found this post from this past January, but I’m willing to bet there are other ones too. There are some short story prompts and a question about what foods I could eat for the rest of my life, like 10. Mmmm…
There’s this page from Duolit. I love the suggestion to write a “Day In The Life” post – especially with Wee One! Ha!
Here are suggestions from the New York Times. Like asking about the best sleepover memories! I haven’t thought about a sleepover in years!
Finally, this post from Daring to Live Fully: the topics are varied. Like a category of “Three things,” like three things I can’t live without, or three things fill-in-the-blank. What a good idea!
What do you think? Do you have a go-to source for prompts? Do you like these sources? If you use anything from one of them, like up to this post (or give a comment) and let me see it! May this help your writing be fruitful!
