If we were having coffee, I would ask how you did with writing in November. I really dropped the NaBloPoMo ball this year. The week of Thanksgiving wore me out and then I got a cold, and I just wasn’t feeling it. But I’m okay with not doing it the whole time.
I remember reading somewhere that if you, the writer, aren’t interested in what you’re saying, your reader isn’t going to be either. I can remember so many posts I’ve written when I wasn’t quite feeling it, I just thought I should do it, and it shows! Those posts suck, in my humble opinion. So it’s really better for everyone involved that I didn’t write anything.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you about selling a drawing on Fivrr! I made a little bit of money off a hobby! I know that some people do that for their jobs, earn a living off their hobbies (though this is not the be confused with the advice to “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life”), and I don’t know that this would become a job, but it was fun to do.
Also, we are all getting over colds. TIL there is very little by way of cold medicine I can give a two-year old. It’s infuriating!
