Weekend Coffee Share #6.5

If we were having coffee, I would be sipping tea again. I was feeling better, but now my throat hurts again. Dude! you exclaim. You were just sick! You need to sleep more! I agree, secretly impressed
A Bummer of Growing Up
The Wee One got up at 5:00 this morning, God help us. She’s been sniffly and her sleep was disjointed last night. I got up with her, we did our morning things, and she took her first (blessedly long) nap. After we got up from that and had been up for awhile, Cohiba got up as well and came out to the living room to greet us. While he was holding her,
The Outsiders

“Excuse me,” she said quietly, preparing to dart out the bookstore doorway. Instead, he held the door open for her. “After you,” he said cordially.
Walking With Intention
Today, I have been lucky enough to be a guest blogger on the Seeker’s Dungeon blog and a monthlong series the host is doing on, as the title promises, Walking With Intention.
“The concept of “intention” has never held very much meaning for me beyond a few experiences with Catholic volunteers. It was a nice, though abstract, concept. Living intentionally never became so important to me until I had a baby.”

If you were able to relive one day from the last 12 months, which day would it be — and why?
The day the Wee One was born was probably the biggest day of my life, but I don’t think that’s the day I would do over.
Not A Fan Of Today
I’m not a fan of today. Today has been a little trying. Last night was the first night the Wee One spent in her crib and not with us. She didn’t sleep well, and then she didn’t nap well today. She’s also getting a new tooth, and so she’s been clingy and whiney all day.
Weekend Coffee Share #5
If we were having coffee, I would be quietly sipping a ginger tea. You ask me about it, since I’m normally such an avid coffee drinker, and I’m quiet for a moment. I have trouble telling you the anxiety I’ve struggled with since college, which seems to have gotten worse since we moved. I have stomachaches almost every day, hence the ginger tea.
If I Could Manipulate Time
I’ve written about this before, wanting to slow down time. Like when I was pregnant, I had a great time, mostly, and I didn’t want it to end.
