Graceless Fear

This is a writing exercise for Writing 101, in which we are asked to write about something that scares us in a style unlike our own. We were given several options

laugh stupid ridiculous worthless.

of different ways we might do this.

I had considered writing something in Gonzo style, for there was one time

abandon (to leave, to starve, to never-come-back, TO NOT WANT)

I wrote a story I was quite pleased with in Gonzo style; at least I tried, and I was pretty happy with it.

Who wants you?

<sigh> What if they’re right?

    1. Well, this is just my biggest fear. “Harsh” is a great way to describe how it feels to remember and be faced with that fear. It just pops up, unreasonable and relentless. Thanks for taking the time to read and comment.

      1. i know it cant reakly help or make you feel great about yourself.but…be kinder to yourself.i know we all have fears that can seem not correct to others etc but you seem like a really talented and creative person.and rather lovely so try not to feat the things you did in your post.

      2. Thank you for your kind words. I do try, and surround myself with good and uplifting people. That’s part of the most challenging thing: that fear STILL pops up and I still have to fight it. I hate that. But, again, thank you for reading and your support.

Okay, your turn.
