If we were having coffee, it would be a little later in the day, for I have been recovering from last night. I know: I’m not a kid anymore and never mix your liquors, but lordy it was fun. I just haven’t gone out like that in such a long time, to a bar/club with dancing and people watching.
How was your Halloween? We took Wee One trick or treating, and she had a blast. She even practiced saying “trick or treat,” and she said a variation of “thank you” at every house we visited, her little hand on her chest.
If we were having coffee, I would go on that she got a cold afterwards, though. I think the mix of being out in the cold that night and then she was up late and had to get up early the next morning – it was just a little much for her system. I think she’ll be well enough to take out of the house tomorrow, though, which I’m looking forward to.
Ooh! And speaking of halloween, did I tell you I dressed up this year? I’m not always so good at it, but I was wandering around Goodwill and found these boots that are perfect for my chosen character: Professor River Song, from Doctor Who. I know you’re not a Whovian, but, trust me, she’s a badass. To do her, you pretty much have to her boots and hair, and I could handle those and fudge the rest. No one got it, sadly, but I walked around the Halloween party with her picture pulled up on my phone, and once they saw her, people said I got it. Heh.
It was still fun, though. Did you dress up?
