How I would LOOOOOOVE a personal assistant right now. Love it.
I had just commented in my Weekend Coffee Share that I feel like I’m on top of these daily posts-even with the baby-and here I am. Wordless.
But in this echoing chamber, I would like to talk about the blogger Rarasaur and the feature she did yesterday of fellow bloggers.
After the last hour and a half, I feel like I need applause.
I’m working with my Wee One and her sleep (but she’s also in a sleep regression, I think, so maybe I shouldn’t be doing anything with it right now?) She screamed for longer than I liked, and I reassured her here and there, then I just realized: she’s not calming down, she’s not sleeping: this is not working.

I have no idea what I’m doing.
So, I look around my living room: no applause? Oh well. I’ll settle for wine and a chocolate chip cookie.

The nine month sleep regression is upon Sahara’s household, and God help us, please don’t last long. It’s iike I have a newborn again. In effort to look on the positive, as I am intentional about doing when it pertains to my Wee One, I’m going to find 10 good things about being up so much during the night. Just call me Pollyanna.

“It keeps getting better and better.”
One six word sentence to tell the story of my future.
If we were having coffee, We would gaze quietly upon the rain outside, and I would tell you that I’m getting used to it. The rain? you ask, and I nod. You know what would be great, though? You shake your head.
I wrote yesterday about doing work one loves.
I recently applied to become a SheKnows Expert (and I was accepted! Yay!) and one of the questions the application asked is, What inspires you to create content?
Stream-of-Consciousness Warning
“What do you want to be when you grow up?”
“What are you going to study in college?”
“Oh, you want a career in XYZ?”
“Why do you want to work for this company?”
Sometimes I find myself stuck in the car while the Wee One sleeps – nap trapped, I call it. I have recently begun a new style of drawing and am able to make some hay while the nap-sun is shining: through Zentangles.
“By the power vested in me by the moon and stars, I now pronounce you husband and wife.” The shaman’s final blessing, tossed about on the buffeting winds, was the last restraint from her rose petal lips. He beamed at his bride, their faces close.
