Sometimes I find myself stuck in the car while the Wee One sleeps – nap trapped, I call it. I have recently begun a new style of drawing and am able to make some hay while the nap-sun is shining: through Zentangles.
These ink drawings can be made on surfaces of varying sizes, but, if one looks closely you can see it is made up of independent sections.
Simply complete one section as a time, one stroke at a time.
It’s quite meditative and peaceful, and best of all, easy to begin, step away from and return to. Even for my Wee One’s 20 minute naplets.
Surely you have seen these kinds of drawing before; where was the bet one you saw? Do you do it?
