October 23rd, approximately 3:45 pm, I felt a thump or muscle spasm way down low. But there is no reason for this spasm. Then I felt another one, and began thinking – could that be her? I poked it back. A little bit later, I felt another spasm, this time a little bit over. I poked that one, too.

First Trimester Lessons
So, I’m seven weeks along right now, almost eight. One month left in this first trimester. I had my first bout of nausea last night/this morning, and I’m hoping that’s as bad as it gets. There are some things I’m appreciating during this time, the time that so many women call magical.
You’re A Wonder, Wonder Woman
I think I had my first pregnancy dream last night. Several of them, actually. In my favorite one, a new Wonder Woman was being born out of a tub, like a Cylon in Battlestar Galactica. She emerged, fully clothed and elevated to the top of the room, where the old Wonder Woman was waiting.
They greeted each other and then stood together and looked ‘away,’ off the horizon. Together, they agreed that they were going to adopt and raise the coming baby.
I decided this was a pregnancy dream and it means one of two things:
1. I am carrying Wonder Woman
2. I AM Wonder Woman.
I’ll accept either one.
Our Name is Creo – Create
And for the ultimate in Creation: I’m pregnant. I just found out on Monday, and I’m kind of freaking out. Not as much as I was, but still.
I haven’t blogged in awhile, and I know I’ve got some of parent/mother bloggers I’m pals with that I wanted to tell! Here’s a question for ya: I’m not drinking or smoking cigars right now, obvs, but I will want summat special to do when I’m with my friends or husband who is doing those things. What worked for you?
I’m thinking about making myself a Virgin Mary (a bloody Mary w/o the vodka) but what else did you have or do during pregnancy that was fun and special?
