Share Your World – What Would You Unlearn If You Could?

After a jaunt back to my folks and some weekends being a Rennie, I am back to once again, Share My World! This is a weekly challenge hosted by Cee, and I encourage you to check out other world’s! How often are we truly let into them, eh?

What is something that people are obsessed with but you just don’t get the point of?

Share Your World – Guest Questions!

Just because it is April and I am doing the A to Z thing, there are still my regularly scheduled(ish) features that I don’t want to ignore! This week in Share Your World, Cee had a guest blogger put questions forth, and they’re fun!

Check out my answers, check out Cee’s, and let me know that you think! What would your answers be?

1.  What is your favorite word?

2.  What is your least favorite word?

Dare I bring up “moist?”

3.  What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

Acceptance. Nature. Open windows.

4.  What turns you off?

Judgement and pressure.

5.  What is your favorite curse word?

It is a very commonplace word that begins with an F – Fie. Fie is the word I began to say after Wee One arrived to keep from swearing in front of her. Because that other F word is really my favorite.

6.  What sound or noise do you love?

Coffee brewing, Wee One’s giggle.

7.  What sound or noise do you hate?

Nails on a chalkboard.

8.  What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

9.  What profession would you not like to do?

I don’t want to be a social worker with family services.

10.  If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

I just want open arms I can sink into.

Share Your World – Don’t Run Out Of Gas When You’re Exploring!

A weekly chance from Cee! Check out her page and see what other’s think.

Ever ran out of gas in your vehicle?

Oooh, yes. I was doing that door canvassing gig and was in a suburban part of St. Louis. It wasn’t my car, which is why I wasn’t thinking about how much gas it had: I probably assumed it was full. But it wasn’t. I was on a relatively busy street and I was able to pull over safely and walk to a gas station. It was more inconvenient than really traumatic.

Share Your World-Holiday Edition!

A time for special holidays (for many people) also call for a special Share Your World!

What really cool about this one is that people can post about any holiday they like, which means we might not be reading about Christian traditions that I know about, but others that I don’t; how cool is that? Check out the original page to see what other people wrote.

Share My World – Tree Climbing And Rainy Days

I haven’t done this in awhile, but why don’t we “share our worlds?!” (I mean, outside of what we already do. Let me know how you would answer these questions, and then go back to the originally poster and let them know, too!!

Are you a traveler or a homebody?

Ooh, I’m a traveler! I love to be on the road! Check out adventures I’ve had under the travel tag!

What kind of TV commercial would you like to make? Describe it.

I think my commercial would be the top 10 trees to climb in the world. So then I would get to travel. There would be location-establishing shots with little labels on the bottom of the screen, then close-up shots of the trees, then talking to arborists about the species of the trees and their virtues, and then a smattering of shots of me climbing the tree. And then the gag reel would be me getting down, as graceful as that is.

Describe yourself in a word that starts with the first letter of your name.

I love alliteration; I can do this all day. Sassy? Sarcastic? Smart? Spirited? Super? Snuggly? Savoring? Spiritual? Studious? Steadfast?

List some fun things for a rainy day.

Sans child: Reading, writing, snuggling, watching TV, drawing, crocheting.

Avec child: Reading (different books though), playing with blocks, coloring, bouncing balls in the basement, rocking and singing by the window, crawling around like bears.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I am grateful for some talks Cohiba and I have had.

I’m looking forward to seeing friends in St. Louis next week.

Share Your World!

Time for a share your world! How would you answer these questions??

If you wanted to de-clutter where you live, what room / space would you start with? (And why, if you’re feel like admitting to it.)

Ooh… It would be a bedroom or personal work room, if I had one. The time I spend in there would be especially rejuvenating because it would be clean and my introverted self would have some time to recharge.
