No – The Mo o’ No/Po Wri-o

What can get your creative juices flowing like a project! And support of other people!

I love NaNoWriMo – the National Novel Writing Month.  If you look at NaNoWriMO on Twitter (or me, ’cause I’m retweeting!), they post photos of write-ins, where people get together with their laptops and typewriters and chalk and tablets and write for hours at a time. Can you imagine the energy that must be flowing through a room like that?  It makes me excited just to see it!

Plus, NaNoWriNo adds extra fun to Halloween, and that is the eve of it, and also makes more interesting an otherwise boring month.  (I am NOT a fan of Thanksgiving, y’all, all the browns bother me. And if not brown, then glitzy adverts for sales. Drag.)

Last time was the first time I did NaNoWriMo, and though I didn’t complete my novel, I finally got on paper something I’ve rumbled around my head for 15 years, and I’m still seriously working on it! For this year, then I decided to continue working on last year’s “No” as well as do a “BloPo” for this “Mo.”  (That almost sounds dirty.)

Are you getting involved with any of these Mo’s projects!?  There’s a lot of support for it (like on the website), and it’s fun!  If you choose to do the NoMo or BloPoMo, too, tell me in the comments so I can check up on you ever day, in the give-you-props sense!

Par example:

The Waiting usually has some gems, as does The Truth Shall Set You Free So Don’t Be A Crybaby. And the Road to Inkrichment!

I’ll be a cheerleader, but I’ll be a pregnant one, so please excuse me for not wearing heels.
