Switcheroo or Being Yourself

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Switcheroo.”

One of the challenges of blogging is looking at other’s blogs and comparing your own efforts with theirs. (I should say that’s a problem for me – am I the only one who does that?)

Then my pen is paralyzed under thoughts of how to be funnier, more poignant, more interesting.

I think this happens with most creative endeavors (painting, music-writing), and for me, the challenge is finding and staying to my own actual voice rather than copying someone else’s.

So in the interest of authenticity, no switcheroo for Sahara or Creo Somnium.
