A wonderful day has finally arrived: the day my toddler starts singing with me!
Yesterday she surprised me by singing along to the ABCs. (She didn’t get the words right, but that’s beside the point.)
She has also started requesting songs with hand gestures: the Itsy Bitsy Spider, Open Shut Them, Skinnamarink (and even sings the vowels in “I love you!” It’s the best!)
But the second best is when music from Moana comes on Pandora. The other night, “One Day I’ll Know” came on while we were getting ready for bed, and we both threw our arms out and heads back and saaaang!
