This past August, as the anniversary of my accident passed for the 22nd time, I was, as always, surprised by how much better I felt when 3:05 passes (the actual time of the crash.) After 3:05, I feel like I can breathe easier. I made it. Another year.
If you’re lucky, you don’t, because that means you were so young when you saw it you don’t remember. (Or you’ve never seen it, in which case you’re not lucky to have something awesome to look forward to.)

This past spring I went back to Missouri for the first time in a year. A whole year! As I was walking around, I kept thinking, “Jeez, why don’t I come here more?”
On the day after Halloween, Wee One’s preschool had a little festival set up for them, including a parade where they showed off their costumes.

While I delight in All Things my Amazing Child does, they often don’t make sense. Like, she’ll push off the shelf I just told her not to push. She’ll clear off a table after I just ask her not to do it, to look with her eyes, to use gentle hands on the dishes, or whatever.
