If Wishes Were Money, I’d Live In A Palace

Day 15 – O

One Wish

Obviously, I want world peace, just like any beauty queen would (smirk), and I won’t wish for more wishes like the Genie warned not to do in Aladdin.

Of course, as Wee One’s mother, my greatest wish is for her safety and joy. Let’s just take that as a given.

My greatest wish is to have my own transport to go wherever I want, and to have time to spend it there. Vietnam. Some of those states I was talking about yesterday. Spain.

What about you? What would you wish for?

Day 14 – N

Number of States Visited in the United States

Thanks to educational road trips as a child, I have been lucky enough to visit many of the states in the United States, I daresay more than half. This is the first time I’ve counted all 50. (So I am excluding the territories. Just like our constitution does during election time.)

Killed Someone

Day 11 – K

Killed Someone – Well, if I had, would I mention it here? And I don’t know if we’re including those people I “killed with kindness,” as my senile fourth grade teacher would do.

In fact, I don’t know if there are any of those, either. How about you? Have you killed anyone? In your mind? With your eyes?

It’s Not Everyday You Get A New Computer

Day 9 – I

In love with – This is excluding Cohiba and Wee One, right? (P.S. Cohiba went to Austin yesterday for a month and I’m hating it.)

I’m a little in love with a new computer I got it. It is a computer tablet thing, and it’s the first time I have had a brand new computer since grad school.

The computer I was using was an old one of Cohiba’s, so the battery didn’t work at all and the memory space and Internet connection sucked.

Now, I have one that I think will more flexible and useful for what I want. I am still trying to set it up the way I want to, so I’m still not positive, but I suspect it’s gonna be awesome.

Ghosts

Day 7 – G

Ghosts. Are they real?

No. I don’t believe in “ghosts,” in the traditional sense. I do believe the spiritual energy of people and that sometimes we are open enough to sense them. What do you think?
