I have told you Wee One is in speech therapy, right? Well, its going well, you know, for her, which is the most important part.

Doctor Who S1 Ep 12 Bad Wolf. Written by Russell T. Davies
I like to see fandoms collide, hence my title. A Sherlock line used to refer to both the situation for our heroes as well as the conclusion of this story arc, which has been building all season.
The Doctor awakens in a Big Brother-like house on Channel 44000. Rose wakes up on a The Weakest Link-type set. Jack wakes up in another show I don’t recognize (I find out its “What Not To Wear” on TLC), and a “defabricator” strips him naked. Aren’t we going to buy him a drink first?
Five Things
Today’s post is brought to you courtesy of a prompt by Mama Kat, who is losing it, apparently.
5 Things About Me
I Should Get A Medal

Though that year is almost over, I’m going to do that “mid-year” check-in now. Next year will be better.
Little Woman
About a week ago, I was at the open gym at the local community center with Wee One, and I heard one mom refer to her cherubic daughter as “little woman.” As in. “Come on, little woman, we’re going home.” I think that sounds cute! We call boy children “little man,” and this is just another kind of endearment.
Weekend Coffee Share #49

If we were having coffee, it would be a little later in the day, for I have been recovering from last night. I know: I’m not a kid anymore and never mix your liquors, but lordy it was fun. I just haven’t gone out like that in such a long time, to a bar/club with dancing and people watching.
Remember The Time… You Went To Your First Boy/Girl Dance?

Ah, pre-adolescence. Has it changed since I was a young lass? Since my Wee One is only 2, I’ll let you know in about 8-10 years. So until then, I’ll just talk about
One of my first dances was in the small gym in the upstairs of a church, where my school was. There were about 150 kids in the whole building, so the dance was pretty small. And honestly, it seemed stupid. These were the same kids I saw every day. They were mean to me, I didn’t like being around them, so I didn’t see how going to a dance with them would be special.
